CARE AIDE - Casual

We are seeking a certified care aide to provide our residents with the best care possible. The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills, empathy, patience and concern in providing excellent service to our residents. Home support/care aide certification, or an equivalent combination of experience and education is required. Criminal Record Check and a Driver's Abstract are requirements.

SOUS CHEF - Casual

We are seeking a Sous Chef to assist our Executive Chef in all aspects of the kitchen including prep work, cooking and menu development. This position also includes providing direction to all Kitchen Aides in the absence of the Executive Chef, providing assistance in the purchasing of inventory and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Our key expectations of this position are to provide an efficient mealtime program, which will be well received by our residents as an enjoyable experience to look forward to each day. We are looking for someone with high energy, great enthusiasm and the skills to do the job efficiently. A Red Seal Cook certificate and/or graduate of a first year Culinary Arts Program are required.

REGISTERED NURSE - Casual, On-call

The Florentine is looking for a self-motivated individual to fulfill the role of On-call Nurse Supervisor. The successful candidate will perform the duties and responsibilities associated with the delegation of meds and the maintenance of medical administration records. This is a Nurse Supervisor contract, averaging approximately 6 hours per month. This opportunity is excellent for a Registered Nurse looking for extra hours of work.
